CATLETTSBURG — Robert R. Hatfield, 79, of Catlettsburg, died
      Wednesday evening, May 15, 2013, at his residence.
      Bob was born Dec. 29, 1933, in Ashland, a son of the late Grover
      and Lillian Thornsbury Hatfield.
      He was the former general manager of Machinery Incorporated and
      was a U.S. veteran.
      He is survived by a daughter, Kathy Berry and her husband, Tom;
      sisters, Peggy Thirion and her husband, Tim, and Jean Woods and
      her husband, Charlie; brother, Clancy Hatfield; and grandson
      Robby Berry, all of Ashland; and special nephew, Beau Martin and
      his wife, Katie, of Nashville, Tenn.
      “Big Bob” as he was affectionately called by friends and
      family, wanted to express his love and appreciation to all his RC
      racing buddies and his dear, dear friends at the Cannonsburg
      Methodist Food Pantry.
      The family has chosen to grieve privately and wishes to thank
      everyone for their love and prayers.
      Arrangements are under the direction of Preston Family Funeral
      Home in Ashland
Addendum:Bob was at Greenbrier 1952 and 1953. He was a member of the Band, Band Orchestra and also a member of rifle team.
